According to a close friend who tearfully recounted the tragic events, Adufe had been slightly unwell and managed to sit for her examination on Saturday, August 2023.

However, due to her deteriorating health, she was accompanied back to her hometown later that day to receive the necessary care and treatment.

Amidst the heavy grief, the bereaved friend revealed that during their last meeting on Friday, Adufe had bid her a final farewell, perhaps sensing the impending tragedy. Despite the efforts to save her, Adufe’s health took a turn for the worse, leading to her untimely demise.

The young student has already been laid to rest in her hometown at Ilupeju Ekiti, where family and friends gathered to pay their last respects.
