Private varsity offers scholarships to first-class graduates

The management of Achievers University in Owo, Ondo State, has declared a scholarship opportunity for five top-performing graduates of the institution, extending up to the Ph.D. level.

These selected individuals, as stated by the university, will be granted scholarships for both their Master’s and Ph.D. studies in the field of Medical Laboratory Sciences within the university.

Dr. Bode Ayorinde, the Pro-chancellor of the university, disclosed this announcement during the induction ceremony for the qualified MLS graduates of the institution in the 2022/2023 academic session.

During the ceremony, which saw the induction of no less than 81 MLS graduates, five of them attained first-class honors. Dr. Ayorinde further confirmed, “We will provide scholarships to these five first-class graduates to pursue their Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in MLS within our university.”

Additionally, Mr. Tosan Erahbor, the Registrar of the Medical Laboratory Sciences Council of Nigeria, encouraged the inductees to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals in hospitals to safeguard patients’ well-being.
