Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing quality and inclusive education across the state, emphasizing that education remains the greatest tool for social and economic transformation.
In a post shared via his official X handle, the governor said he recently visited Government Science Secondary School, Batagarawa, Government Girls Technical and Commercial College, Charanchi, among other schools.
Radda explained that the visits went beyond routine inspections, noting that they were aimed at connecting with students, encouraging them, and assuring them that their dreams are valid.
> “Education is the greatest equalizer. It gives every child, boy or girl, the opportunity to rise above limitations and shape a better future,” the governor wrote. “This is why our administration is committed to promoting quality education that reaches every corner of Katsina State.”
The governor added that he was inspired by the enthusiasm and determination displayed by the students, reminding them that discipline, hard work, and focus remain essential ingredients for success.
Radda also disclosed that part of his visit was to assess students’ welfare, including their feeding arrangements, assuring that the government will continue to provide adequate, nutritious meals and conducive learning environments.
He further reiterated his administration’s resolve to build an inclusive and empowering education system that nurtures every child, stressing that the future of Katsina State depends on the strength and character of its younger generation.
