The Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, has joined members of the University of Lagos Alumni Association to celebrate the association’s 55th Anniversary Awards and Recognition Dinner, describing it as a moment to honour excellence, leadership, and service.

In a statement shared after the event, Salako-Oyedele congratulated the Alumni President, Executive Council members, and all award recipients, noting that their achievements continue to make the university proud.

She described the evening as “beautiful, filled with laughter, nostalgia, and the joy of reconnecting with old friends and meeting inspiring alumni from other generations.”

The Deputy Governor also extended her appreciation to the non-UNILAG awardees who were recognised for their significant contributions and commitment to supporting the institution.

Looking ahead, Salako-Oyedele expressed optimism that the association would continue to record more milestones, strengthen its bonds, and uphold the enduring spirit of the University of Lagos.
