Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu will, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, officially commission the newly completed Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Library Complex at the Lagos State University (LASU) Main Campus, Ojo — a landmark project poised to redefine academic research and digital learning within the institution.
The event, scheduled to commence at 9:00 a.m., marks another significant stride in Lagos State’s investment in education and infrastructure advancement.
The University management in a statement confirmed that, “The Governor of Lagos State and Visitor to Lagos State University, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, is set to officially commission the Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Library Complex, Lagos State University, Main Campus, Ojo.”
The Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu Library Complex, designed as a modern knowledge centre with advanced research tools and digital facilities, is expected to serve thousands of students, scholars, and researchers across Nigeria.
University officials described the initiative as a reflection of the Governor’s unwavering commitment to transforming the learning environment and promoting innovation-driven education in Lagos.
The Sanwo-Olu to Commission LASU’s Ultra-Modern Library Complex Tuesday ceremony is open to the public, with invitations extended to key stakeholders in education, government, and the Lagos academic community.
