School Activation: Firm Deepens Awareness on New Product

PureChem Manufacturing Limited, Nigeria’s leading manufacturer of adhesives and construction chemicals, has introduced a new product, Topbond Craft Glue, specifically designed for arts and crafts for students in Nigeria. The Glue was launched on Friday, June 28, 2024, during a school activation exercise held at La Maisonnette Bilingual School, Gbagada, Lagos.

Speaking during the activation exercise held amidst excitement from the pupils, the Sales and Marketing Manager, Consumer Product Division, PureChem Manufacturing Limited, Ishan Phadke stated that the company introduced the product, Top Bond Craft Glue, to give end users, particularly the students the firsthand experience of what the product looks by deploying it for their art and craft projects.

Phadke explained that the live experience and the excitement that greeted the use of the product are clear proof of the quality furthermore he said creativity and learning go hand in hand so it is imperative to engage students at young age with art and craft workshops.

He disclosed that the company remains the only one that is producing craft glue locally though there ar some traders who  import their products to Nigeria.

While appealing for support for local manufacturers from the Federal Government, he said the local production of Topbond Craft Glue by the company will certainly enhance employment opportunities.

He stated that the company has concluded plans to activate the product in different markets across the country as a way of deepening awareness.

“We are gathered here in this school to promote our product, Topbond Craft Glue, to give them more information about the product and why it is most suitable for their crafts. This explains why we are conducting the live craft classes, where we use it as an application. From what we have seen, they have testified that the product is working well. So, we will keep promoting our new Top bond Craft Glue in as many schools as we can.

In her remarks, the Proprietor of La Maisonnette Bilingual School, Adenike Akande commended the management of PureChem Manufacturing Limited for choosing to activate its new product at the school noting that this action would significantly impact the craft of the pupils at this early age and spark creativity as they grow.

Akande described the craft glue as beautiful, quite handy, and easy to use, stressing that many preschoolers’ find it interesting and fun-loving.

“You know art and craft is an integral part of our curriculum here at LMBS. So, having this just makes the work more fun, more interesting as you can see from this activity that we are doing. Most of these kids don’t need so much adult supervision because of the way the craft glue and the gum stick together without creating any mess. If you look at the white type, and the orange type, one will be inclined to love art naturally even the kids. Ordinary, children love art and craft. But with these types of Top gum, children who do not show so much interest will like arts and crafts. In a nutshell, it would enhance their creativity,” she said.

One of the pupils who spoke during the activation, Maxine Ikwuegbu expressed appreciation to PureChem Manufacturing Limited for providing them with Top bond Craft Glue to perform their crafts.
