Angels on Mission School, Surulere, Lagos, emerged victorious in the third edition of the Bible Society of Nigeria’s Primary School Bible Quiz.
Represented by Annabel Onyekwere and Ogechi Ogogu, the school scored a perfect 100 points, surpassing five other schools at the competition held on Tuesday at the Bible Guest House, Palmgrove, Lagos.
God’s Glory Abide Nursery and Primary, Mile 12, Lagos, secured second place with 86 points, while News Estate Baptists School, Surulere, followed closely with 85 points as the first runner-up.
Cr Victor School, Ijeshatedo, achieved fourth place with 80 points, Femat Private School, Ikorodu, earned fifth place with 78 points, and De-Future Hope School, Ojo, concluded with 67.5 points in sixth place.
During his opening remarks, the General Secretary of the BSN, Pastor Samuel Sanusi, emphasised the organisation’s commitment to spreading the Word of God to all Nigerians. He highlighted the significance of introducing the primary school quiz to nurture young minds during their critical formative years.
Both Onyekwere and Ogogu expressed gratitude to God for their victory and acknowledged their teachers for their support and preparation.
