TESCOM Pegs Cut off at 50%, Slates Interview for September 21

The Management of Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, (TESCOM) has announced that the cut-off mark for the recently concluded Computer Based Test is 50%.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Commission’s Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Olabisi Oderinde.

Oderinde affirmed that the Commission also pegged the forthcoming interview minimum score at 50%.

“The Commission led by Pastor Akinade Alamu therefore maintains objectivity, transparency, credibility and stand on merits to appoint whoever that will take up the teaching job of the state.

“Therefore, the CUT OFF mark of the just concluded Computer Based Test result for Teachers is 50% in all Subjects,” the statement reads.

It adds that the interview minimum score too will be 50%.

The Commission said it was part of the Management’s mission to support the vision of Engineer Seyi Makinde to restore the lost glory of Education and to move the State Education sector to a world class level.

Applicants were urged to bring along two copies of CBT score slip, interview schedule slip and relevants credentials for the interview that will commence on September 21, till October 4, 2020.

They were enjoined to watch out for the time table and the print out of the interview schedule on the Oyo State Job Portal.
