Three Nigerian women, Adejoke Opeyemi-Ogungbire, Aderonke Sakpere, and Ebenezer Chris-Ajah, have made it to the TechWomen 2023 program.

TechWomen is an initiative of the United States towards advancing the rights and participation of women and girls around the world by enabling them to reach their full potential in the tech industry.

The trio was celebrated on the official Instagram account of the United States Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria on Thursday.

The US Consulate General in Nigeria, Will Stevens, congratulated them on their achievement and encouraged them to make the most of their exchange experience.

During the five-week TechWomen program, emerging female leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics engage in project-based mentorships at leading tech companies in Chicago, as well as professional development workshops and networking events.
