UDUS: ELSSA to hold orientation programme for newly admitted students, launches tutorial class

The English and Literary Studies Students’ Association, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto is set to hold orientation programme for the newly admitted students on Tuesday, 18th of July, 2023.

According to the Internal Memorandum released by the association, the programme is scheduled to hold at A134 at exactly 10 o’clock in the morning.

Part of the memorandum reads, “The programme is chiefly for 100L students; however, we hereby urge you to attend the program because it will help create familiarity with the University’s regulations and academic standards, acquaint the students with other classmates, and help to bring a smooth transition in your academic pursuits.”

While addressing the issues of tutorial class for undergraduate I (UG 1), the memorandum noted that the launch of the tutorial class for 100lv students will commence on the 13th of July, 2023, and the process of how it would be coordinated will be disseminated to the respective class representatives.

“Therefore, all UG 1 students are expected to be in attendance for the two activities,” the memorandum concluded.
