UmojaHack 2021: UNILAG AI CLUB Wins First Place

The University of Lagos AI Club took the first place at the 2021 UmojaHack, Beginner level. The programme ran from Saturday, March 27, 2021 to Sunday, March 28, 2021.

 

The Hackathon was organized and held virtually by Zindi Africa. Importantly, it is aimed at building machine learning models to solve different problems.

 

Dr. Victor Odumuyiwa, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Sciences supervised the participation of the UNILAG AI Club in the hackathon.

 

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin, T. Ogundipe, FAS, on behalf of the Management, Senate, members of staff and students congratulates the UNILAG AI Club on this feat.

Abdulafeez Olaitan is the Campus Ambassador for Unilag. He is a writer who served as a delegate of Austria in ECOSOC committee at the 2020 IBMUN conference. Olaitan enjoys collecting quotations and astrophotos.
