UNILAG Announces Second Semester 2019/2020 Resumption Date

By Abdulafeez Olaitan, UNILAG

The 2019/2020 academic calendar was heavily disrupted as a result of the effects of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

This has, however, left the different sectors of the nation adjusting and readjusting to the “new normal.”

According to the revised academic calendar for second semester 2019/2020 session, students are expected to resume May 10, 2021.

Also, lectures are set to commence immediately.

Accordingly, lectures will end by August 13, 2021 while second semester examinations will follow suit.

Students are to note that second semester lectures will be physical, and not virtual sessions like the first semester. All students are therefore encouraged to sit up for the best that is yet to come.

Abdulafeez Olaitan is the Campus Ambassador for Unilag. He is a writer who served as a delegate of Austria in ECOSOC committee at the 2020 IBMUN conference. Olaitan enjoys collecting quotations and astrophotos.
