UNILAG Leadership: FG Inaugurates Newly Constituted Governing Council

Federal Government has appointed a newly constituted Governing Council for the University of Lagos.

 

The inauguration of this council took place on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the National Universities Commission (NUC), Maitama, Abuja.

 

Honourable Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny S. T. Echono.

 

The federal appointees are:

 

Prince Dr. Lanre Tejuoso (Chairman)

Dr. Aminu Ahmed (member)

Chief Chinedum Adindu (member)

Dr. Elizabeth Uvoh-Gardner (member)

Comrade Mustafa Salihu (member)

 

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, on behalf of Management, Senate, Congregation, Staff & Students, wishes the newly inaugurated Governing Council a successful tenure.

 

Abdulafeez Olaitan is the Campus Ambassador for Unilag. He is a writer who served as a delegate of Austria in ECOSOC committee at the 2020 IBMUN conference. Olaitan enjoys collecting quotations and astrophotos.
