The University of Lagos (UNILAG) School of Postgraduate Studies will spotlight the role of advanced education in driving Nigeria’s progress at its annual lecture scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2025, at the Tayo Aderinokun Auditorium.
This year’s theme, “PG Education: Setting the Agenda for National Development”, will bring together thought leaders and industry captains. The event will be chaired by the Founder and Executive Chairman of Philips Group, Mr. Foluso Philips, with the former Head of the Federal Civil Service, Prof. Oladapo Afolabi, as the guest lecturer.
In a statement, the Event’s Publicity Sub-Committee Chairman, Dr. Tayo Popoola, quoted the school’s Dean, Prof. A. A. Osinubi, as saying that the chief host is the UNILAG Vice Chancellor, Prof. Folashade Ogunsola.
