UNILAG Senate Elects New Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services)

The University of Lagos Senate has conducted an electronic voting process to elect a new deputy vice-chancellor for development services.


The Statutory Meeting of the senate held on Monday, March 29, 2021.


Professor Ayodele Atsenuwa of the Department of Public Law won with 81 votes (63.28%).


Prof. Atsenuwa, the immediate past Dean of the Faculty of Law, is a Professor of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos.


Her teaching and research interests are wide; traverse Criminal Law and Criminal Justice, Human Rights Law, Gender and the Law, Law and Religion as well as Health and Migration Law.


Atsenuwa’s appointment, when approved, will span 2 years with effect from appointment date.


Abdulafeez Olaitan is the Campus Ambassador for Unilag. He is a writer who served as a delegate of Austria in ECOSOC committee at the 2020 IBMUN conference. Olaitan enjoys collecting quotations and astrophotos.
