UNILAG Warns Students Against Examination Misconduct

Management of the University of Lagos has advised students writing the ongoing 2019/2020 first semester examination to read their examination dockets carefully.

 

This is to ensure that they steer clear of activities capable of leading them into trouble with the institution.

 

The University Senate considered and approved S.P. No 2019/115 containing the Harmonized Penalties/Sanctions for Examination Misconduct for both Physical and Virtual examinations.

 

Clauses for the virtual exams however needs special attention since it is the first of its kind in the history of the school.

 

The University of Lagos Senate therefore calls on students to be sensitive to these charges. Also, to thread with care during their respective examination sessions.

 

Students are strongly advised to acknowledge these changes and try as much as possible to avoid misconducts and malpractices.

 

The recommendation of the Misconduct Panel will determine the penalty on other related acts of Examination Misconduct not specifically stated in the examination docket.
