The University of Ilorin has extended the deadline for post-UTME registration until January 31, 2024.

This decision was communicated through a statement signed by the institution’s registrar, Mansur Alfanla, on Monday.

The extension of the registration period was prompted by numerous requests from concerned parents and candidates.

Alfanla emphasized that the university acknowledges the challenges faced by applicants and their guardians and has, therefore, taken this step to accommodate their needs.

According to the official statement, the registration portal will remain open until the end of January 2024.

As a result of this extension, the post-UTME examinations, originally scheduled for an earlier date, will now take place in February 2024.

Prospective candidates are urged to utilize the extended registration window to complete their applications through the university’s portal.

This move by the University of Ilorin reflects a commitment to fairness and flexibility in the face of unforeseen circumstances that may have hindered the timely completion of the registration process for some applicants.

As the new deadline approaches, students and parents alike will likely appreciate the university’s responsiveness to their concerns, allowing more individuals to participate in the upcoming post-UTME examinations.

This decision also aimed at ensuring a smooth and inclusive admission process, demonstrating a willingness to adapt and respond to the evolving needs of its prospective students.
