The Commissioner for Higher Education, Alhaji Isah Abubakar Tunga during a press briefing said Governor Nasir Idris has decided to improve infrastructure in the institution.

He said 50 buildings and a mosque would be renovated while new buildings, additional hostels and staff quarters will be constructed in the university.

He added that the state government was ready to uphold the position of the university as one of the 10 best states’ owned universities in the country.
