Violators of indecent dressing rules risk two semesters suspension – OSPOLY MGT

In a bid to curb the menace of indecent dressing amongst students, the management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has declared that violators of the indecent dressing rules risk two semesters suspension.

The Rector of the polytechnic, Dr Odetayo, who is known for his strict disciplinary approach, made this announcement during a sensitization campaign aimed at creating awareness amongst students.

Speaking during the campaign, Dr Odetayo through the management staff stated that indecent dressing had become a major concern in the polytechnic, as it had negative effects on the institution’s image and reputation. He stressed that the polytechnic had zero tolerance for indecent dressing and warned students to desist from such acts.

The sensitization campaign had a massive turnout, with students coming to terms with the new approach of the management towards enforcing the indecent dressing rules. The students were urged to dress decently, as it was not only important for their personal image, but also for the image of the institution.

The disciplinary council of the polytechnic has been mandated to ensure strict compliance with the indecent dressing rules. Any student found to have violated the rules would be sanctioned accordingly, with the penalty being two semesters suspension.

This new approach has been lauded by many students, who believe that it would go a long way in reducing the menace of indecent dressing in the polytechnic. Some students also commended the management for its efforts in maintaining the institution’s image and reputation.

The management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has sent a strong message to students regarding indecent dressing. Students have been advised to dress decently to avoid the risk of suspension. The polytechnic has reiterated its commitment to maintaining high standards of discipline and morality in the institution.
