Waislitz Global Citizen Awards offers $250,000 in Prizes

Waislitz Global Citizen has announced applications for the prestigious Waislitz Global Citizen Awards 2024, marking its tenth anniversary.

Sponsored by the Waislitz Foundation and Global Citizen, these annual awards provide a total of $250,000 in cash prizes to commend individuals committed to eradicating extreme poverty. The top prize amounts to $100,000, with two additional awards valued at $75,000 each, culminating in three distinguished prizes.

Benefits:

– $100,000: Waislitz Global Citizen Award (Grand Prize)
– $75,000: The Waislitz Global Citizen Disruptor Award
– $75,000: The Waislitz Global Citizens’ Choice Award

In addition to the financial rewards, recipients of these accolades will be featured prominently in editorial coverage on the Global Citizen platform and its social media channels.

Eligibility Criteria:

– Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
– Candidates can hail from any corner of the globe.
– The awards are open to individuals engaged in impactful endeavors, operating under registered legal entities such as non-profits, for-profits, B-corps, social enterprises, etc.
– Applicants must submit their own applications.
– While the prize is awarded to an individual, the monetary grant is allocated to the organization with which the individual is affiliated.
