The Federation of Oyo State Students Union (FOSSU), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter is to organise a Grand Spelling Bee contest for interested state associations on Danfodiyo campus.
The first round of the event, according to a flier released by the association, will take place on Sunday, June 25 at the PTF lecture hall, while the final round of the competition will come up on Sunday, 9th July 2023 at the School Auditorium by 10:00am.
While speaking with the News Digest Press, The President of the association, Moshood Adam Adebowale, said that the contest is aimed at fostering unity and harmony.
“The main aim of this program is to foster unity, show the existence, and enjoy a mutual relationship with the local chapters.”
He further added that the prize for the contestants is yet to be announced to the general public.
“There is a prize for all the participants and also an undisclosed prize exclusively for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd runners-up respectively.”
