President Bola Tinubu, former Head of State General Yakubu Gowon (retd.), and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo were among the distinguished guests at the unveiling of a book titled ‘Working with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser Media and Publicity, 2015-2023.’
The grand event took place on Tuesday at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
The occasion witnessed the presence of other eminent personalities, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, former First Lady Aisha Buhari, and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The author of the book, Femi Adesina, Buhari’s former spokesperson, presented his insightful reflections alongside the unveiling of five volumes of another literary work titled ‘Muhammadu Buhari, The Nigerian Legacy, 2015 to 2023.’
This book launch marks a significant milestone as it signifies President Buhari’s first official visit to the federal capital since his handover to President Tinubu on May 29, 2023.
The Transcorp Hilton venue served as the backdrop for the convergence of political minds, providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and reflections on the eight-year tenure of the former president.
Notably, the event held historical significance as it marked the first public appearance of both President Tinubu and former President Buhari since the symbolic handover ceremony in May.
