The Rotary Club of Omole-Golden has taken a significant step in shaping the futures of students at Oke-Ira Senior Grammar School, Ogba, Lagos, by hosting a vocational service seminar. The event, aimed at inspiring and guiding students in their career paths, was met with great success.

Club President, Rtn Jide Ogunleye, kicked off the seminar with a powerful message on the importance of vocational training and career guidance. “Our goal is to empower these students with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their future,” Ogunleye said, underscoring the club’s commitment to youth development.

A highlight of the seminar was a keynote address by Prince Olufemi Oladipupo, Chairman of the Vocational Service Committee. Speaking on ‘Entrepreneurship,’ Oladipupo shared valuable insights on starting and running a successful business. He encouraged students to think creatively and harness their entrepreneurial potential, providing practical advice drawn from his own experiences.

The seminar also featured engaging talks from other notable speakers, including Rtn Boluwatiwi Ayo-Opaleke, Rtn Musibau Ajani, Dr. Olanike Aladesuyi, and Rtn Sandra Aiyudu-Dickson. Their discussions covered various aspects of career development and vocational training, offering students a comprehensive view of the opportunities available to them.

This initiative by the Rotary Club of Omole-Golden reflects a strong commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders and professionals, equipping them with the tools to succeed in an ever-changing world.
