The management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akoko-Akungba (AAUA), has announced a new date for the matriculation ceremony of students admitted for the 2022/2023 academic session.
According to a circular signed by the institution’s Registrar and Secretary to the Senate, Olugbenga Arajulu, the matriculation ceremony would hold on June 16, 2023.
The circular added that only students who have duly registered and assigned matriculation numbers would collect academic gowns and caps, as the names of eligible students will be sent to their various departments before 14th June, 2023.
The circular read: “This is to inform all staff and students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, that the Management has fixed Friday, 16th June, 2023, as the new date for the Matriculation Ceremony for fresh students for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.
“All fresh students must have registered and assigned matriculation numbers before the midnight of Wednesday, 14th June 2023, as the list of students to be matriculated will be forwarded to the various Departments for collection of academic gowns and caps.”
Edugist earlier reported that the matriculation scheduled to hold between the 7th to 13th of March was postponed to allow all the fresh students to complete their registration and assign them matriculation numbers.
