The University of Notre Dame Scholarship Program, aimed at first-year undergraduate students, offers merit-based scholarships for exceptional academic performance. This prestigious program provides selected students with a substantial annual award of $25,000, totaling $100,000 over four years. In addition to this financial aid, recipients may also access enrichment funding for projects related to scholarship, service, and leadership.

Benefits:
The University of Notre Dame offers over 20 merit-based scholarships as part of this program. Each recipient will receive an annual award of $25,000, which amounts to $100,000 over the course of four years. In some cases, students are also provided with additional enrichment funding for service and leadership initiatives, allowing them to further enhance their academic and personal development throughout their time at the university.

Eligibility:
To be considered for the Notre Dame Scholarship, candidates must be applying to an undergraduate program at the University of Notre Dame. This scholarship is open to both U.S. citizens and international students. Applicants must meet the university’s English language proficiency requirements, with TOEFL, IELTS, DET, or PTE scores required for students whose first language is not English.

Application process:
Interested applicants must apply through either the Common Application or the Coalition Application. Additionally, candidates must complete the Notre Dame Writing Supplement, which is part of the university’s unique application process. Students have the option to submit ACT or SAT scores, though this is not mandatory. Non-native English speakers are required to submit standardized test scores (such as TOEFL or IELTS) to prove language proficiency. Applicants must also provide high school transcripts, a letter of recommendation from a teacher, and pay a non-refundable $75 application fee.
