Chief Tunde Fanimokun, a retired Permanent Secretary in Lagos State, has pledged a generous donation of N18 billion to Lagos State University (LASU).

Known for his impactful service, the man popularly referred to as the “Super Perm Sec” further announced the gifting of a property valued at N3 billion, located in the upscale area of Surulere, Lagos, to the institution.

Fanimokun made this significant declaration during the LASU 2025 Distinguished Personality Lecture, held at the Makanjuola Lecture Theatre on the university’s Ojo Main Campus. Speaking at the event, he expressed his deep commitment to supporting the university and hinted at further contributions in the future.

This substantial donation is expected to greatly enhance LASU’s capacity to deliver quality education and improve its infrastructure, further cementing its position as a leading institution in Nigeria.
