Thesis Education Group is proud to announce the third edition of its prestigious I-Learn Summit, scheduled to take place on Thursday, 31st October, and Saturday, 2nd November 2024. The I-Learn Summit 3.0, themed “From Potential to Performance: Unlocking Learners’ Potential through Inclusive Assessment,” will bring together leading educational leaders, policymakers, teachers, and assessment experts from across Africa to explore innovative strategies that cater to diverse learning needs.

Thesis Education Group (TEG) is a pioneering force dedicated to revolutionizing education in Nigeria and Africa. With deep-seated passion for excellence-oriented education systems, we are committed to fostering environments where students, educators, and institutions can thrive. Our mission is to elevate the standards of educational delivery and academic achievement through innovative and impactful interventions.

In 2022, we launched the International Learning & Assessment Rethinking (I-LEARN) as a platform for the advancement of the cause of learning and development in the education sector. The International Learning & Assessment Rethinking (I-LEARN) Summit is the foremost gathering of the top educational leaders, policymakers, teachers and assessment experts from across Africa focused on learning, testing, grading and assessment practices to ensure that more children are learning the critical skills they need to thrive in the future.

The Summit aims to foster deep engagement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among key players in the education sector. Participants will gain practical tools, insights, and strategies to implement inclusive assessments that nurture individual strengths, promote equity, and close learning gaps. The ultimate goal is to transform the way learning and assessment are approached in classrooms across the continent.

This year’s event will take place in a hybrid format, with virtual sessions on Thursday, 31st October, and an in-person event on Saturday, 2nd November 2024, at The Zone, Gbagada, Lagos. The sessions will begin at 9 AM daily. The target audience includes school leaders, educators, administrators, policymakers, and students. Key topics to be covered during the Summit include innovative assessment approaches for diverse learners, leveraging technology for inclusive assessment, equity in education, formative assessments, and the importance of assessing 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. These topics will be explored through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops designed to equip educators with the tools needed to integrate inclusive assessment techniques into their teaching practices.

The I-Learn Summit 3.0 promises to be a transformative experience for educators, empowering them to rethink and reshape their assessment methods to better support student success. Participants will have the opportunity to hear from prominent speakers and thought leaders in education who will share their insights on the future of assessment, equity in education, and data-driven decision-making to improve learning outcomes.

Thesis Education Group is dedicated to transforming education through innovative learning solutions and professional development, empowering both educators and students. Our mission is to foster an environment of continuous improvement and inclusive learning, ensuring that all learners can reach their full potential.

We look forward to welcoming educators and leaders from across the education ecosystem to this exciting and impactful summit.
