Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has unveiled the breakdown of the 2023 UTME MOCK and examination fees.

It was reported on Monday January 16, 2023, that candidates who decide to opt for the mock UTME will pay a total of N6,700, while those who choose not to sit for the mock UTME will pay N5,700.

According to the breakdown of fees for the 2023 examinations, the UTME/DE application fee will be N3,500.

The board also noted that candidates would pay the sum N500 for the reading text.

“The sum to be charged by CBT centres would be N1,700 for those who do not opt for the mock UTME while the CBT service charge for those who opted for the mock would be N2,700,” the examining body said.

It added, “A total of N700 would be paid as a registration centre service charge and N1,000 as an examination centre service charge.”

The board noted that the grand total without mock would be N5,700; with mock, N6,700 and N4,700 for direct entry applicants.

JAMB’s head of public affairs and protocol, Fabian Benjamin, said in a statement that the management of the board made the approvals at a meeting held in December.
