The 51st President of the Association of Campus Journalists, Obafemi Awolowo University, Latinwo Gbolahan has revealed that his administration will prioritise members’ growth and development.
Gbolahan, who was sworn in alongside other members of the executive on 24, June 2023 made this known in a chat with Edugist.
While he feels honoured to have been elected to serve, he believes that serving as the immediate past financial Secretary of the association has prepared him for the task ahead.
“As I said in my manifesto, the administration will prioritize an all-inclusive administration, member growth and development as well as upholding the ethics of campus journalism in and outside the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University,” he further shared.
He seeks the support of the members to achieve the highlighted goals and assures that his administration will always engage the alumni body when necessary.
The newly sworn-in members of the executive for the 2022/23 session include Gbolahan Latinwo – President, Iseoluwa Olufajo – Vice President (Administration), Theophilus Awotunde – Gen Secretary, Ayomide Adesina – Chairman, Guild of Editors, Esther Olatimehin – Assistant General Secretary, Oluwafemi Olabode – Public Relations Officer, Deborah Adewumi – Financial Secretary, Stephen Omosebi – Director of Socials.
