The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released results of the 2019 November/December Ordinary and Advanced Levels Certificate Examinations.
The board disclosed this on Wednesday 26th February, 2020. It stated that it had done all its best to conduct a credible examination and checkmate malpractices.
The examination Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Ifeoma M. Isiugo-Abanihe, confirmed the information in Edo State.
She said that, 32,349 out of 50,040 candidates scored five credits and above, including English language and Mathematics.
The NABTEB boss added that the year’s performance was statistically the same with the 2018 November/December results.
“About 603 candidates, out of 49,302 candidates, involved in malpractices during the conduct of the examination,” Isiugo-Abanihe added.
She therefore called for the establishment of more Federal Science and Technical Colleges (FSTCs). In addition, she urged the government to equip the existing ones.
