NYSC wants corps members to rectify mistakes ahead of registration

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a notice to prospective corps members regarding mistakes in their date of graduation while the online registration process for the 2023 Batch A Stream 2 is still ongoing.

The announcement was made through the official Twitter handle of the scheme recently.

The NYSC advised prospective corps members to take necessary steps to rectify any issues related to the date of graduation before reporting to the orientation camps.

It emphasized that once a state code number is issued, the date of graduation cannot be corrected.

Therefore, prospective corps members need to ensure that their date of graduation is correctly entered on the online registration portal before the release of call-up letters.

The scheme further urged prospective corps members who have discrepancies in the dates uploaded by their schools to urgently contact their Student Affairs Officers to rectify the problem.

The NYSC warned that such individuals should not proceed to the orientation camps until the correction is effected.
