In celebration of World Youth Skills Day, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Branch is thrilled to announce a free one-day skill acquisition programme.
This initiative is aimed at empowering young individuals with essential skills to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities. The programme is generously open to youth aged between 18 and 35 years.
The event will hold on Monday 15th July 2024, at Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Secretariat Hall, Town Planning Way, Ilupeju.

The programme highlights include video creation and editing. Participant will also learn soap and disinfectant making; cupcakes & cookies production. They will master the techniques of baking delicious cupcakes and cookies, perfect for starting a bakery business or adding to your culinary skills.
Also part of the training is photography essentials where they will gain foundational knowledge in photography, including camera handling, composition, and lighting, to capture stunning images.
Speaking about the programme, Okeyale Zakariyah, acting Coordinator of NYCN Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Branch, urged the youth to grab the opportunity.

He maintained that the programme is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience and practical knowledge that can significantly boost participants’ professional and personal growth.
