Distance learning or online education has brought about flexibility in education for individuals who desire to study in any part of the world, even in their own countries, while enjoying the benefits of international education.
Unlike traditional education, online education affords students the opportunity to learn at a pace that suits them while also enabling them to balance their academic and professional lives. Additionally, online education provides the opportunity to learn from the comfort of one’s home or any location of their choosing, thereby reducing the cost of transportation, accommodations and other expenses that come with attending traditional classes. Another significant benefit of distance learning is its contribution to the development of students’ technical skills. Distance learning equips students with important technological skills required to navigate the digital world, enhancing their employability and competitiveness in the job market.
Some institutions that offer online courses also provide scholarships that cover tuition fees, making education more accessible to students who might not have been able to afford tuition fees in regular classes.
