he Lagos State Government on Thursday urged residents to disregard a fake advertisement on the internet about admission into the state School of Nursing.

Dr Modele Osunkiyesi, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, said this in a signed disclaimer.

“The attention of the Ministry of Health has been drawn to the activities of some unscrupulous group of people who placed a fake advertisement on the internet.

“It has been revealed that these dubious people invite unsuspecting individuals to pay into their personal accounts,” she said.

Osunkiyesi also urged members of the public to disregard any information on the internet about the purported admission forms.

She said that all enquiries regarding admission into the school should be channelled to the Coordinator, Lagos State School of Nursing Complex, Alimosho General Hospital, Igando.

Osunkiyesi also advised people to be vigilant, saying, “anyone who deals with these touts does so at his or her own risk.”
