In recognition of this, Nifemi Brown Foundation (NBF) is glad to announce its Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (NBF-USP) for Nigerian students in Federal Universities across the country.

Through this initiative, NBF aims to empower deserving students to pursue their dreams and transform not only their lives but also their communities and generations to come. By supporting talented and motivated students through the NBF-USP, the foundation aims to nurture the next generation of leaders and change-makers who will drive positive change in Nigeria and beyond.

The program aims to alleviate the financial burden of higher education and nurture the potential of bright minds who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities, and a commitment to community service.

Returning Students

Returning students who have consistently maintained outstanding academic performance are encouraged to apply for the NBF-USP. To be considered, applicants must submit the following:

A 500-word essay detailing their personal journey, accomplishments, and future aspirations.
Results from past semester(s) or their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
Three reference letters from individuals of reputable standing, such as lecturers, course advisors, religious leaders, mentors, or guidance counselors.
Application closes on August 30, 2023.

Newly Admitted Students

This scholarship presents an incredible opportunity to kickstart their academic journey on a strong footing. Eligible applicants must submit:

A 500-word essay showcasing their passion, interests, and reasons for pursuing their chosen degree.
Results from their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Post-UTME.
Admission letter confirming their enrollment in a Federal University.
Three reference letters from individuals of reputable standing, such as religious leaders, mentors, teachers, or guidance counselors.
Application closes on August 31, 2023.

Applicants are encouraged to express their uniqueness and creativity in their essays while adhering to the guidelines set by the NBF. Reference letters must be presented on a letterhead paper, signed, and stamped by the respective individuals providing the recommendation.

All documents MUST be sent in a single folder to nifemibrownfoundation@gmail.com with the subject USP Entry.
