Speaking during the convocation, Babalola disclosed that as graduates of the varsity, they had been trained to imbibe the core values of integrity, accountability, hardwork, and dedication to service.

He said, “These graduates have imbibed the values of Chrisland University and we have no doubt that they shall shine the light wherever they find themselves in the nearest future.

“Admit that there are hard times but believe that you are trained to excel beyond average. Identify the problems, and set your goals and plans for a better tomorrow. Be determined and tenacious. Have a mindset to succeed and overcome hard times to excel in your endeavours.”

While congratulating the graduates for completing their academic programmes, the founder and Chancellor of the University, Dr Winifred Awosika, however, urged them to see themselves as leaders ready to take responsibility for their lives.

Awosika said, “You must see yourself as a leader who is ready to take responsibility for his or her life. Challenge the existing ways of doing things and be a better innovator.

“Change is the only thing that is permanent in life, so embrace change by acquiring and developing new skills to be more relevant in our current highly competitive global environment.”
