The Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, has alerted the public that his phone line has been hacked. In a disclaimer issued on his official X account on Thursday, Mamman urged people to avoid communicating through the compromised number. He warned the public to disregard any messages requesting assistance until the issue is resolved.
The Ministry of Education also confirmed the breach, explaining in a Friday statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Boriowo Folasade, that unauthorized individuals are using the Minister’s WhatsApp number. Authorities are investigating the incident.
