The Kingdom Creative Thinkers (KCT), under the leadership of Director Odedina Emmanuel, recently concluded a free music workshop aimed at equipping local youth with basic knowledge of musical instruments.

The workshop, held in Solu Ifo, provided lessons in guitar, trumpet, keyboard, and talking drum to both KCT members and other young participants in the area.

The initiative, part of KCT’s broader mandate to foster positive mindsets and nurture young talents, focused on giving local youths access to valuable learning opportunities, even in a community where many parents may not fully understand the importance of such programs. Despite this challenge, KCT remains committed to reaching and impacting as many young people as possible.

The music workshop, which attracted 45 participants weekly, provided free training and awarded certificates to attendees to validate their basic knowledge of the instruments.

Director Odedina emphasized the importance of offering these opportunities, particularly in a local environment where access to such resources is limited.

“We aim to ensure that no obstacle prevents our youth from developing their talents. This music workshop is just one of many ways we are working to inspire growth and creativity among young minds,” Odedina said.

KCT also extended its gratitude to Mr. Oluwaseun Ogunwale, Director of AMBCOM Peculiar School, for his significant support in training the children. His dedication and kindness helped ensure the success of the program.

Looking ahead, KCT plans to host more initiatives that promote mentorship and talent building in the community.
