The Access Bank/Nerdzfactory Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program (WDEP) 2024 is designed to empower Nigerian women with the skills and tools needed to digitize their businesses and remain competitive in the evolving marketplace. This initiative, implemented by the Nerdzfactory Foundation, seeks to close the digital gender gap and enhance women’s economic participation by promoting digital entrepreneurship.
Benefits:
Participants in the Women Digital Entrepreneurship Program will receive hands-on training in areas such as digital business strategies, social media marketing, online business management, and business pitching. In addition, the program will feature key events including the Women Digital Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, a Business Connect Webinar, and a summit. The highlight of the program is a pitch competition where the top three ideas will be awarded grants to support their businesses. Participants will leave the program equipped with practical skills to launch and scale online businesses.
Eligibility:
To qualify for this program, applicants must be Nigerian female citizens aged between 25 and 40. The program is specifically aimed at unemployed or underemployed women, with a minimum education requirement of SSCE or OND. Additionally, applicants must have access to the internet, as much of the training will be delivered online.
