Applications are now open for the 2024 Bridge Fellowship Programme offered annually to all qualified Nigerian students by the Afara Initiative.

The Bridge Fellowship Programme is a leadership fellowship for developing leaders of tomorrow. It is fully funded with accommodation. As a fellow of this initiative, the full expenses of your feeding, accommodation and other related expenses will be fully covered.

Benefits
The one-year active free fellowship starts with a residential boot camp in August followed by year-long leadership training. After completing the program, you will become part of an active alumni network, which can provide you with lifelong learning opportunities and support.

Requirements
To be eligible for the undergraduate Bridge Fellowship Programme, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

Applicants must be a student of a Nigerian university or polytechnic

Applicant must demonstrate leadership quality

Throughout the entire admissions process, how you think, how you lead, how you see the world, and how audacious you are, are all evaluated

The programme comprises fellows from multifaceted backgrounds ranging across disciplines – Law, Engineering, Social Sciences, Medicine, and Pure Sciences, among others.

Applications can be completed through the online portal. Application deadline is June 2, 2024.
