The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) has launched the Women in Science Displacement Outreach Master’s Scholarships (OWSD WISDOM) for 2024. This initiative aims to support women scientists who have been forced to flee their homes and countries, providing them with the opportunity to resume their studies and advance their careers in STEM fields.
Benefits:
The OWSD WISDOM scholarship is fully funded, covering all necessary expenses for the selected candidates. This includes M.Sc. tuition fees, living and personal allowances, residence and visa documentation, medical insurance, travel expenses, a capacity-building program at the chosen institutions, network-building opportunities, and a termination allowance. These comprehensive benefits are designed to alleviate financial burdens and facilitate a smooth academic journey for displaced women scientists.
