Crawford University has appointed a new Vice Chancellor.
The newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Reuben Kolo, reacting to the new development, assured the institution that he will employ the world’s best practices in learning and teaching to improve students’ academic performances.
Responding to correspondents during an interview, he said he would establish programmes that would attract more students to the university.
Kolo, however, maintained that he would expand on what the outgoing Vice-Chancellor had put in place.
“In the cause of this COVID-19 pandemic, normal classroom learning may not be the only thing. So, I want to build and expand on ICT through the Learning Management System. Where students would study online and do a lot of things online,” he said.
The management of Crawford University had on September 16, 2020, during the institution’s Senate meeting already approved the appointment of Kolo as the next Vice-Chancellor of the University effective, October 5, 2020.
Professorship of Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology was conferred on Prof. Reuben Kolo, October 1, 2010.
