The Chairman of Iba Local Council Development Area, Jubril Yisa, has said that every child in the council deserves access to quality education.
Yisa, otherwise known as Abila, stated that his administration is proud to play a part in making that a reality.
He made this known during the presentation of JAMB forms to beneficiaries.
Yisa said: “Today marks a significant milestone in our efforts to empower and support the educational pursuits of our young people. We recognised the importance of education in shaping the future of our community, and we are committed to providing opportunities for all, regardless of their socio-economic background.
The presentation of today’s JAMB forms is another series in educational supports which I promised our youths during the electioneering campaign. To the glory of God, I have fulfilled all these in the past years with presentation of JAMB forms and GCE forms coupled with Abila yearly Bursary Award to support our students who are facing one challenges or the other at their various institutions.”
According to him, the JAMB forms represent more than just a registration process; they symbolize hope, opportunity, and a chance to unlock the full potential of the students.
He said: “To our beneficiaries, I urge you to seize this opportunity with both hands. Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance will be the keys to unlocking your dreams. Remember that education is a powerful tool that can transform not only your life but also the lives of those around you.
“To our parents and guardians, I thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement. Your role in nurturing and guiding our students cannot be overstated. To my Head of Education department and her team, I appreciate your tireless efforts in making this initiative a success. Your commitment to serving our community is truly commendable.
