First Bank launches Digital Xperience Centre at UI

In a significant stride towards reshaping the landscape of banking services in Nigeria, FirstBank, a leading commercial bank, has unveiled the state-of-the-art FirstBank Digital Xperience Centre (DXC) at the University of Ibadan (U.I).

The inauguration of the DXC marks an innovative leap in the banking sector, driven by First Bank’s commitment to revolutionise customer experience and pioneer technological advancement in the financial industry.

The First Bank DXC stands as a pioneering hub, dedicated to providing customers with an unparalleled avenue to experience cutting-edge banking solutions and explore the forefront of financial technology firsthand.

Engineered to cater to the dynamic needs of modern consumers and the banking public, the DXC empowers customers to navigate the intricate digital landscape with confidence.

This transformative establishment aligns with First Bank’s vision of delivering superior customer experience and maintaining a leadership position in financial innovation.

The center incorporates a multitude of advanced features, affording customers the ability to autonomously carry out diverse banking activities, eliminating the need for direct human interaction.

This revolutionary suite of modern banking facilities includes humanoid robots infused with video banking and Artificial Intelligence (AI), effectively assuming the role of amicable branch personnel.

The center boasts Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs), Self-Service kiosks catering to non-financial transactions like account updates, Fast Track (Contactless) ATMs, and an Interactive Smart Screen enabling comprehensive consultation with bank sales staff through remote video connections.

Adesola Adeduntan, the chief executive officer of First Bank, expressed his enthusiasm for this groundbreaking initiative, stating, “Our mantra, ‘Woven into the fabric of society,’ encapsulates our unwavering dedication to customers across our global footprint.
