Ezekwesili, who is known for her advocacy of good governance, transparency, and accountability, expressed her worry that the disregard for the rule of law witnessed in the Lagos State gubernatorial election could escalate if Tinubu becomes President.

In a tweet, she criticized the violence unleashed by thugs and some criminal gang against innocent citizens in Lagos, stating that it is a preview of what Tinubu might bring to the center of power. Ezekwesili is concerned that such reckless behaviour will have dire consequences for Nigeria’s future.
