Sogbera Foundation has distributed an array of essential school supplies to deserving students across schools in Imota local council development area.

The initiative aims to empower and uplift 100 schoolchildren, instilling in them the belief that education is not only a gift but a path to a promising future.

“We believe that education is the key to unlocking the potential within every child,” Adeola Sogbera, the founder of Sogbera Foundation said. “Our mission is to provide the essential tools and support needed to inspire these young minds and pave the way for a brighter future.”

The foundation, which is driven by its mission to empower young minds, visited nine schools in the primary school category in Imota local government.

As part of their holistic approach to education, the Sogbera Foundation introduced students to the SMART roadmap, a guiding light for success. The SMART acronym stands for:

S – Study Diligently:Encouraging students to apply themselves in learning and understanding subjects thoroughly.
M – Make Goals:Fostering the habit of setting clear and achievable educational and future goals.
A – Act Responsibly:Instilling a sense of ownership for their studies and responsibilities.

These life skills, embedded in the SMART roadmap, provided students not only with tools for academic success but also with the capabilities to navigate the path ahead, in education and beyond.
