Following the lecture, attendees will be treated to a live Field Demonstration showcasing the practical applications of drones in agriculture. This demonstration will take place on the field opposite the Post Graduate School, providing a firsthand look at how drones can be used for tasks such as crop monitoring, soil analysis, and pest control.
The demonstration is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of the operational aspects of drone technology in real-time agricultural scenarios.
The event will be graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olusola Babatunde Kehinde, whose support underscores the university’s commitment to embracing innovative solutions for agricultural development. Prof. Kehinde’s participation highlights the importance of integrating advanced technologies into the educational curriculum and research activities of FUNAAB.
This initiative is a significant step towards empowering the next generation of agricultural professionals with the tools and knowledge necessary to drive sustainable agricultural practices. By showcasing the potential of drone technology, FUNAAB and its partners aim to inspire a wave of technological adoption across Nigeria’s agricultural landscape.
