The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) joined the Muslim faithful in celebrating Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The special prayer session, held at the University Mosque on March 30, 2025, was graced by members of the University Community, including staff, students, and well-wishers.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, was represented at the event by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Prof. Kola Adebayo, who conveyed the Vice-Chancellor’s Goodwill Message to the Muslim community. In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor emphasised the significance of the occasion, urging all to embrace the values of unity, peace, and generosity that Ramadan represents. He also reaffirmed the University’s commitment to fostering religious harmony and inclusivity among its diverse community.

The Chief Imam of the University, Prof. Idris Ayinde led the congregants in prayers, offering supplications for the University’s progress, the well-being of its members, and peace in the nation. The gathering provided an opportunity for worshippers to reflect on the spiritual discipline of Ramadan and renew their dedication to righteousness and service to humanity.
