After a well-deserved break, students of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) have returned to campus as the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic session commences. With a refreshed spirit and a renewed sense of determination, the students returned to their academic pursuits on May 8, 2023 after a short holiday.
As the second semester kicked off, students were eager to resume their studies and engage in various academic activities. The university administration, in collaboration with faculty members, had meticulously planned the course schedules, ensuring a seamless transition into the new semester.
The activities are tentatively scheduled as follows:
- 8th May, 2023 – Resumption for second semester
- 22nd – 27th May, 2023 – Students Union Week
- 15th July, 2023 – Lectures End for all Students
- 17th – 22nd May, 2023 – Revision Week
- 24th May, 2023 – Second Semester Examination Begin
- 19th August, 2023 – Second Semester End
- 19th August, 2023 – 17th September, 2023 (End of Session Break)
- 18th September, 2023 – New Session Begins for 2023/2024 Academic Session
A 300-level student of the mass communication department said she is excited to resume for the new semester. “I look forward to having a great semester and achieving outstanding results,” she told Edugist.
