Professor Shehu Raheem Adaramaja, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), has emerged Dean, Forum of Chairmen of State Universal Basic Education Boards (SUBEB) across Nigeria.
The announcement came to light during the monthly gathering of the forum in Abuja, where Dr. Hamid Bobboyii, the Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), lauded Prof Adaramaja’s outstanding track record, distinctive persona, and resolute commitment to duty.
In a statement issued by Ameenat Abiola Atere, the Press Secretary of Kwara SUBEB, Bobboyii emphasized that Adaramaja’s elevation epitomizes a well-deserved recognition for his relentless pursuit of excellence in the realm of education administration.
Reflecting on his newfound designation during a media interaction in Ilorin, the capital city of Kwara State, Professor Adaramaja attributed this accolade to the concerted efforts of the KWSUBEB team under the visionary leadership of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
Expressing gratitude, Prof Adaramaja remarked, “To God be the glory, I have been named the Dean of SUBEB Chairmen. This is just a manifestation of the tremendous work KWSUBEB is doing to improve the standard of education at the primary level.”
He continued, “This was made possible by the level of confidence reposed in my leadership of the Board by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. The inspiration and support have been very massive. I am dedicating this rare recognition to the governor and indeed the people of the state.”
Asserting his commitment to advancing educational standards, Adaramaja affirmed, “For us in KWSUBEB, this is a call for more service. Like it’s often said, the reward for good work is more work. This, we shall continue to do in Kwara.”
Furthermore, he extended a pledge to collaborate with his counterparts from all 36 states of the federation, vowing to provide strategic direction and support to the esteemed cadre of SUBEB chairmen nationwide.
